Memo to MTA, RE – G Line/Hoyt Street Platform: “Wash Me” Please.

MTA Sirs/Madams: A powerwash is urgently needed on the unused platform, at the G Line/Hoyt-Schermerhorn station, in Brooklyn.

Notice the difference between the used platform and the side that is closed?  The difference in color is the even layers of soot – nasty particles of unhealthy matter – covering the entire platform.  It doesn’t take an expert to tell us that the dirt circulating throughout the underground station is unhealthy for subway riders, while they wait for the snail pace G train.

Meanwhile, straphangers can anticipate a fare increase very soon.
