NYC Storm Information: Find out Your Evacuation Zone and Shelter Locations

Important storm information for New York City:  Find out if you live in an evacuation zone and where shelter locations are in your borough.  The National Weather Service reports, Sandy remains a large storm, with widespread impacts expected to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states next week.”

The National Weather Center:

Hurricane Sandy will move parallel to the southeast coast of the United States through the weekend. Sandy is a very large tropical cyclone with tropical storm force winds extending outward up to 450 miles. The latest forecast indicates a turn to the northwest by early next week, with direct impacts expected for the Mid-Atlantic and/or Northeast United States.

We hope for minimal impact, but be prepared for damage and inconvenience.  Shelter and Evacuation Zone Information:
