(Video) DNC 2012 Speeches – Michelle Obama, Julián Castro, Deval Patrick

The opening night at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina was a packed stage full of powerful speeches from democratic leadership.

Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick came out strong and told Conventioneers, “It is time for Democrats to grow a backbone and stand up for what they believe in!”

Julián Castro for President of the United States of America in 2016?

San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro is the first Latino to deliver the DNC keynote address.   In 2004, at the Democratic National Convention, no one was thinking that in four years the keynote speaker, Barack Obama, would become President of the United States in 2008. But it happened.

Finally, First Lady Michelle Obama walked us through a journey that included and touched a chord in every single American.
